This story reflects around a medical student who had a sudden change of heart after wanting to take her life. He was a medical student studying at an established medical college. His age was around 22 years old. In medical school, he thought he heard people backbiting about him and making thought were making devious plans. This really made him sad and kept him in a depressed mood. He felt that he was being judged by everyone. He was starting to feel more and more insecure about himself that he had started losing hope.

It got to the point where I got a call from him at midnight. This was my first contact with him. I was surprised as he told me about how he started feeling helpless and insecure. There was no way that he could carry on from that point so he had decided to take his life. He added that he had medicinal pills lined in front of him and was going to take it all unless I helped. I could hear the background of someone telling him to open the door as I assumed he had closed the door as well. I could feel his emotion as he told that nobody understood him. I talked to him and calmed him down. He told that he was going to throw away those pills and later flushed them in the bathroom. I consoled her by saying that you have to move forward and the people you feel that judge you is only temporary. I also added a couple of things that made him feel comfortable.
He felt a little more relaxed and told me he was going to go back to college and finish his medical degree. After that incident he frequently visited me to take advice and how to move forward. I felt some kind of intimacy to him that bonded us together. Whenever I called him and asked him is something bothering he would have that exact feeling of something bothering him or sometimes I would call and assume that something has gone right he would tell me he had passed his exams or got something good done. There is always a connection. Right now, he is doing really well and has completed his medical degree to become a doctor.
