My Introduction.

Hello everyone, My name is Neeru Baral. I am a freelance counselor. I am here to listen to you and help you find yourself as a person through spiritual counselling. My way of counselling is different from general counselling as it puts emphasis on spirituality which is really beneficial when dealing with problems.

My interests include helping people, listening to music, reading books and also watching inspirational movies. I have helped a lot of people in the past and now this is something new that I have taken up as I want to help you to recognize oneself rather than being someone else. 

My Learnings

• Completed Bachelors in Economics from India
• Did my Diploma in Psychological Counselling from St. Xaviers' College, Maitighar.
• Have learned Reiki Healing, which is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing from Dr. Yogi Swami Vikasananda.
• Completed the V-Star Training in 2014, which is a part of the 'World Morality Revival Project, a seven day Meditation and Spiritual Program organized by the Dhammakaya Foundation in Thailand.

My Works

• Started out as a volunteer at Samyak Jeevandhara, a spiritual organization. I continue to work there today as well as it has already been 10 years since I have been there.
• Worked at Richmond Fellowship Nepal Rehabilitation Center. I worked there as a counselor for drug addiction and people with mental health problems.
• Then was a counselor at Campion School looking after students from +2 level.
• Worked in Radio as part of Gurkha F.M. (93 Mhz). Used to run a show called 'Dark Side' where I used to take phone calls and talk to people about their problems and situation.
• Worked in Television as part of E-24 channel and did a weekly television show called 'A Cup of Tea'. I would bring in different guests from different sectors and we would discuss their life and problems.
• Worked 3 years at Mega School as a school administrator.
